The situation in Columbus is continuing to develop in front of our very eyes this afternoon as newly acquired winger Zac Rinaldo is not a part of the training camp roster due to being unvaccinated, according to Mark Scheig of the Hockey Writers.

Rinaldo will start the year with Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League. The enforcer has been vocal about the Canadian election in the press, and the leak of his unvaccination has left the Blue Jackets brass little to no choices for him. Rinaldo johns Columbus after being with the Calgary Flames last season, having a minimal amount of work in past shortened season.
