You can take a look at Detroit’s first round results here. Unless something changes, Detroit has 6 picks between the 2nd and 6th rounds. (No 7th round pick). Two in the fourth (update, one pick traded to move up in the second. Only 5 picks now today). There’s obviously plenty of need to go around. The second round has been good to Detroit in the past. We’ll see how it goes.

Shai Buium Picked at 36th overall. Traded 38 and 128, obviously excited for the opportunity to grab this player. I don’t remember moving up twice in 2 rounds, so this has already been a pretty exciting draft!

Carter Mazur, 6’ ,right shot LW, Is the #70 pick. Trying to find a highlight reel for this pick. 19 year old, passed over last year, led USHL (Tri City) with 6 short handed points. From the Jackson area, played for Little Caesars. Posted highlights from a 2 goal game for Mazur below. Gets to the net, good hard play.

Redmond Savage , 5’11” center/lw has been selected with the 114th pick. Son of Brian Savage, former NHLer

Liam Dower Nilsson , 6’0 left shot center, is the 134th pick

Oscar Plandowski, 6’0 right shot defenseman, drafted at 155

Pasquale Zito 6’0 left shot left wing selected at 166
