The Anaheim Ducks announced yesterday that they’ve hired Newell Brown as an assistant coach.

Brown has spent time with the Ducks as an assistant coach on two other occasions, from 1998-2000, then from 2005-2010 and won a Stanley Cup with the team in 2007. Recently, Brown spent time with the Vancouver Canucks, where he was an assistant coach from 2017 until the end of this past season.

Brown joins Mike Stothers and Geoff Ward, who were also hired by the Ducks as assistant coaches earlier in the summer.
