Like they always in the Stanley Cup playoffs, all it takes to win the Cup is make the playoffs. Montreal had the worst record of any of the 16 teams that made the playoffs this year and last night they punched their ticket to the Cup Final. The Habs will start on the road regardless of tonight's G7 winner in TB. G1 on Monday and G2 on Wednesday night. I still can't help but wonder how this series would've went if Fleury didn't make that bad gaffe with less than 2 minutes in G3 with Vegas leading 2-1. Regardless, Montreal is now just 4 wins away from the Cup!
Looking ahead to tonight, we have the ultimate G7 between NYI/TB. Typically these game seven's tend to be so tight defensively that I will side with the under and enjoy the game. If I had to make a play on the side, I would play NYI. If the Isles score first tonight, lookout Tampa!
Going under the total is still the way to go with under's hitting at a 42-30-1 clip so far!
