The San Jose Sharks announced today that they’ve signed forward Scott Reedy to a two-year entry-level contract.

Reedy is 21 years old and was selected by the Sharks in the fourth round of the 2017 NHL Draft.

Reedy has spent the last four years with the University of Minnesota and this season, he had 11 goals and 28 points in 28 games.

While his stats over the last few seasons don’t project for him to become a high-end NHL forward, Reedy is still young and has good size, at 6-foot-2 and 209 pounds. He is expected to join the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda on an amateur tryout.
