San Jose Sharks first-round pick Ozzy Wiesblatt has been loaned to the AJHL’s Brooks Bandits, with the start of the WHL season still a couple of months away.

Wiesblatt will be playing alongside fellow first-round pick Jake Neighbours, who was selected 26th overall by the St. Louis Blues. The two forwards should tear up the AJHL, until their loan ends on December 20.

Wiesblatt is a member of the WHL’s Prince Albert Raiders and scored 70 points in 64 games last season. He should return to the club for the WHL’s start date of January 8.
