The Leafs are going to make a major trade. There is no denying it. Everyone in the hockey world is talking about it. They need to get better defensively AND they need to shore up their goaltending...
The Leafs could trade a few different players, but one of two players appears to be getting the nod: William Nylander or Kasperi Kapanen..
Both have suitors, both can help acquire at least some of what is needed. Nylander's cap hit is much higher, but so is his upside...But Kapanen is an absolute bargain for what you are getting...Kapanen is one of the fastest players in the game and so smart in all areas...
But Kapanen only opens up a little cap space...and the Leafs need more if they are to make a run this year...
