On Friday, fresh off learning that Miss Cleo would no longer take my Ouija board calls, I tried to drown myself in Pizza.

Me and the fam settled in with a couple larges and watched a double shot of Rogue 1 and the Usual Suspects.

Now The Usual Suspects was the cat's meow, and that was possibly the 28th time I've seen it, but first since meeting Keyser Soze in real life. (It's just a guy in my dojo with the same name, but he's pretty cool).

Now you might be surprised to learn that I belong to a dojo, but it's true. I study Karate under the watchful eye of Sensei Doug, a fat white guy from Stayner Ontario who is a master of the eastern arts. (Seriously, his agility for such a large man is crazy).

As for Rogue 1, I thought that was pretty cool too. I liked it better than both other recent Starwars movies which I didn't like all that much ("OK hipster, why don't you put on another National record and tell us all about it.......").

Neither movie was as good as Dolomite which I watched a few weekends ago and which should win the Oscar for Best Picture this year, assuming I know or care what types of films win awards from losers.

As to the rest of my weekend, Saturday me and the missus went antiquing and I bought a lovely chifonier............just kidding, we got drunk and yelled at our neighbors while watching monster trucks on youtube.

Hey-oh!

Sunday was the best day of all because I didn't have to work and I just ate left over chicken wings and tried to learn cool Ray Charles riffs on my piano.

Anyways, that recaps my weekend.

As for the Coyotes, they beat the LA Kings 3-2 in what I am sure was real nailbiter, then lost to the Oilers in a shootout on Sunday.

The Sunday game was notable for Connor McDavid playing every single minute of the game.

Huzzah!
