Bob Mckenzie stated yesterday that there is large interest in Brian Boyle and implied a team is out there ready to make the deal if they can free up the right amount of space/contracts.

I am told that team appears to be the Pittsburgh Penguins and it makes sense...The Penguins are always watching the Capitals and the size and muscle on Pitt is far behind that of the Caps...

On Dion Phaneuf...
I am hearing three teams with interest...Edmonton (e4), Montreal (e3), NJ (e3)

In case you missed it...

Carter Hart stones Taylor Hall to keep the Flyers up 1 late in the second from r/hockey

This save will go down as one of the best of the season, but for Flyers fans...it will go down as much more. The Flyers have had their goalie issues for years and years and there is no question this save was cathartic for Flyers fans everywhere for many reasons...

* It happened against the Devils
* It happened on a 5-3 Penalty Kill
* It happened against a MVP in Taylor Hall
* Hart, at 21, became the youngest Flyers goalie to get a shutout.

So there is plenty of euphoria in Philly today.

Do you believe Carter Hart is the answer??

More to come.
