Welcome to September, Hockey World! This is the month the fun returns! This afternoon I will begin team previews full force with a bit of a twist. But first, I will always post rumors as they happen, and there is a good one this morning...

McAvoy and Brandon Carlo Possibly Traded?

There are two big RFAs in Boston, with Charlie McAvoy, of course, being the most important cog and many are telling me that of all the RFAs out there McAvoy may be the most likely to sign long term...sources tell me that the Bruins always see their success linked to a single defensive stalwart who they can count on for years to come...(see Chara) The Bruins are very much sold that McAvoy is their guy for those years...Werenski and Provorov may sign shorter deals, but McAvoy looks like a sure thing to being extended long term.

Niklas Kronwall Announces Retirement...

Great Dman....HIGHLY underrated, and the last remaining player from the Wings Cups, has called it quits.. The Red Wings. I was told, were willing to bring him back and left it completely up to Kronwall...

Coming up previews for Montreal and Vegas...
