Guerin named Wild GM, Brassard to the Isles |

Mentioned on the Buzzcast last week, the Wild have officially announced that Bill Guerin will be their next GM.
We also discussed Derick Brassard this morning, where reports had the veteran center signing a one-year deal with the Edmonton Oilers. There are now indications that Brassard will be heading to Long Island, where he would be filling the spot vacated by Valterri Filppula.
UPDATE - Brassard has signed with NYI, 1 year, $1.2 Million per Puckpedia.
