1. Mitch Marner

I don't think he's as good defensively as a lot of people make him out to be but he's a wizard with the puck and is one of the league's top playmakers.

2. Timo Meier

Meier is already an elite 5v5 point producer and chance generator. He's going to get more opportunity on this year's Sharks team and he's going to make the most of it.

3. Mikko Rantanen

Has registered 80+ points in consecutive seasons while playing a key role on one of the NHL's best lines. Very few can dissect defenses in the final third like he can.

4. Matthew Tkachuk

Tkachuk is a possession driving super-pest who is already about as good as it gets below the dots and around the net.

5. Patrik Laine

He doesn't do a whole lot when he's not scoring goals. Fortunately for the Jets, he's often scoring goals. Laine's averaged 38 per 82 games since entering the league.

Peter Tessier

DeBrincat- last season he played 82 games with 41g and 35a- hat's not to like?

Rantanen- 87 points! He's going to get a big raise and deserves one as he will anchor that team with MacKinnon and Landeskog for years.

Tkachuk- 34g 43a for 77 points. Yes he's playing with a great Calgary team but so are all the other top young wingers. Guy will be a stud for years.

Connor- Has the advantage of playing with Scheifele and Wheeler but makes the most out of it with 34g- Guy is a deadly with the puck but needs to work on the assists. Maybe this should be Laine?

Laine- yes he had a down season but he's coming off of 44 goals before age 20. Think about that. The list of those accomplishing that are few and far between.
