A former member of the Columbus Blue Jackets has a one in four chance of hoisting the Lord’s Stanley Cup in the calendar year of 2025. The Conference Finals begin tonight for the Hurricanes; Stars; Oilers; and Panthers. Here is who could hoist and their impact.

Carolina

Eric Robinson — former Jackets’ winger

Jack Roslovic — Columbus born and second line center

Dallas

Matt Duchene — the veteran leading point scorer for Stars.

Edmonton will lose to Dallas in 7. Unlike Lawless, the Stars are actually the better team.

Florida

Sergei Bobrovsky — two time Veznia winner

Gregory Campbell — part of the staff

Seth Jones — added from the deadline for Kinght and a first.

Bill Zito — former assistant general manager

Cats in 6; they convinced me after embarrassing the Bolts.
