Mike Reilly was claimed off waivers by the New York Islanders. Reilly played only two games with the Cats and seemed to be stuck behind the many defensemen added to the roster this summer.

Not sure if he didn’t get much or a shot, he didn’t have “it”, or both, but it just didn’t work for the blue liner in South Florida. Best of luck to him with the Isles.
