Two games against the Bruins, both ending in the same results: Great first period by the Panthers, only to not be able to sustain that level of play the remaining 40 minutes.

While it’s disappointing, it’s hard to be too mad at this crew given their current play as of late. Loses will happen. Only so much you can do against the top dog with a goalie tendency boasting outrageously low GAA numbers.

Just have to make sure it doesn’t become a trend.

Despite the loss, I liked the team’s response to McAvoy after his elbow on OEL during their first meet up. I felt that it shoulders this team is really backing one another - unlike what we’ve seen in previous seasons.

With Barkov back in the lineup, Florida will look to bounce back against a strong Winnipeg team that is currently sitting at 11-5-2, good enough for third in the Central Division.

The last time the Cats and Jets met, Winnipeg beat Florida 6-4. Often a big/heavy team with skill, the Jets seem to always give the Panthers a tough time.

I’m expecting Stolarz in net and a lot of physicality on this one…
