Both are tough characters. And known for their toughness for sure. However, Cowboys have an easier life in general. They sit in the saddle, ride the plains, and take care of their herds….maybe get an occasional gun slinging fight….
An oil worker is down in the trenches. It’s a much tougher job day-to-day much more physically demanding turning those giant wrenches and pulling out your pickaxes. People die often when harvesting oil. It’s a really tough job.’
The percentage of lives lost by oil worker has to be much higher than the percentage of lives, lost as a cowboy.
So I think it’s pretty certain to me that in a cage fight, fight, an oil worker would take out a cowboy.
