Are Goalie Interference Plays a MAJOR problem? |

Another playoff night, another goal/no goal controversy swirling around a goalie interference ruling. In last night's Dallas vs. Colorado game, the Stars had a potential series-winning goal disallowed after a review for goalie interference.
Dallas ultimately won the game and series anyway. Even so, this seemed to be a missed call where the defenseman caused the "incidental contact". By my count, there have been as least three separate controversies over whether goalie interference should be ruled and whether a would-be goal should be allowed or disallowed.
The playoffs are only half over. I don't think anyone would be surprised if there are several more related controversies before a team lifts the Stanley Cup.
