Quick hits to start today…
There have been years of rumors out there that Patrick Kane would at somepoint end up playing for his hometown Sabres. It finally makes some sense now. The Sabres are one of the most dynamic teams in the league and Kane could truly give them enough to not only make the playoffs, but compete in the playoffs…
I am still hearing there are other teams out there with interest as well…nothing gets done until Kane can show he is ok from the surgery, but that hasn’t;t stopped teams trying to find a spot…
On Tampa…
Vasilevskiy Underwent surgery yesterday and will miss 8-10 weeks…The Lightning are not a deep team in net at all, but they are still very much considered a playoff team…. Will something get done here? Could a Hellybuyck make some sense?
