I heard a rumor of the Kings wanting to move him. Not entirely sure what his value is though. He looked pretty good in the playoffs.

I thought from the start that this was a public ploy to drive down the price of Luongo. Otherwise, this deal would have happened long ago and moved on....

I thought from the start that this was a public ploy to drive down the price of Luongo. Otherwise, this deal would have happened long ago and moved on....

I hope we keep Bernier for a bit. Can't say I remember a time when the Kings were this solid in goal. Doubt there was one.

Just goes to show how unrespected Wellwood is he had one less goal than Oshie and he gets 3 mil less.

Anything can happen, but I doubt we trade Scuderi. He is "the piece". I've recently heard rumblings of DL resigning him at the same AAV for three years.

Any team would love to have him though.

I hope we keep Bernier for a bit. Can't say I remember a time when the Kings were this solid in goal. Doubt there was one.

It wouldn't, but it leaves a whole lot of potential in goal. Two young guys competing for the starting job, Reimer was brilliant before concussion, this year is the year to prove he can bounce back. Bernier was a very high regarded goalie that is looked at to be an above average starter. Struggled the past few seasons, but has also been stuck behind Quick.

3 scenarios can ultimately happen.

1) Bernier excels, and becomes a very good #1, as many expected him to. Reimer becomes a solid back up that can play 20-25 games (or more)
2) Reimer excels, and proves that the 40 games, plus the 5 at the begginning of last season was no fluke, and that he can be a true #1 goalie. Bernier remains the same goalie, a solid backup that once again, can play 20-25 games
3) Both struggle once again, and show that they both are likely destined to be career backups. This leads the Leafs to another lottery pick, likely around 5th once again.
