Its going to be a long summer of this soap opera. At this point you can't keep him because every time the team hits a rough patch (which will happen often), the media will have a field day on whether or not hes getting traded. Howson needs to cut his loses, I'm not saying give him away but begin listening to reasonable offers.

He's gonna hold out, Ek's well is dry and he needs the hits.

Nash won't go for that, he wants out of there at this point.

It's too bad Howsen is ruining this team...they actually have a solid fan base and could easily be in the middle of the pack in terms of revenue.

Bingo. The Jackets franchise is over-valuing Nash.

Granted he is the face of the franchise and they need a face, but, time to get realistic already.

Instead of asking for an entire line from another team, they should explore a straight up trade for another teams stud.

Maybe something like Getzlaf for Nash.

if im him i try and convince nash to stay, get luongo , and see if you can bring in semin would give you a better all around team

I think by re selling he means ....... refusing reasonable offers then make Nash and his agent believe they are getting nothing significant in return for him.

Bitter he didnt want to go to Ott huh. You people are getting old with this 60 pt player crap. He is a top tier player. He hasnt had crap for support. He's be around 40-60 pt players.

Imagine if they mend the fences and Ryan Johansen develop's into the talented kid he is. Also imagine if Brassard got back to the form he was at a couple of years ago nearly a pt per pt before suffering injuries. Nash is a big deal player.
