Vancouver has a good shot. Doan lives in BC, where his wife is from in the offseason. He's part owner of a WHL team here, the Canucks are contenders and he is close with Laurence Gillman (assistant GM) who was with the Jets and Coyotes organization with Doan for over a decade. |

I really like Doan too and I can't agree more. Though they share some traits and coincidences have occurred (many great players are drafted top 10) Ron Francis is in a totally different league than everyone in the league now besides maybe Sid. |

While I think Sid has a better scoring touch and Francis was far more calm and conservative in his behaviour, I gotta agree that when it comes to each players respective games, Crosby and Francis play an almost identical style. Hell, even the curve of their sticks are similar. |
