Isnt there more important things to discuss?
Like the ground breaking news of Doan being coveted? Or that Doan this and Doan that, part 19? |

I dont know how many of said Kaleta replacements will see the same amount of ice time Kaleta would when hes not injured...
If not signing Kaleta means we have the resources to sign what we need then obviously yes.... if not then im not sure we just let him go |

Kaleta should have an A on his sweater for the leadership he provides. When your injuries are due to blocking shots, fighting and blocking more shots you're doing something right. Kaleta and Ott on the same team are going to be a thing of beauty to watch. Kaleta is a cheap signing, plus he's local; there's plenty of room on the team for him. |

Would rather have Kaleta on the roster than Gerbe. Why add Ott only to lose one of our most physical players who is cheap and low risk. It's not like we are paying him a ton of money so that if he gets injured it's the end of the world. He kills penalties. Is a leader. Gerbe gets injured just as much. Keep Kaleta. And if he gets injured Tropp comes in.

You called it. But Kevin here would like Kaleta to score more goals. Drop Gerbe if theres a decision to be made. |

I would keep Kaleta.
He is not gonna cost us a lot, brings physical presence. |

I would re-sign patrick. He won't cost much and when he's in the lineup i'm not sure there is anybody else on the team that will do almost anything to win. |

I'm going to be completely honest and say that I'm not overly impressed with Buffalo's high-end skill level (that will change when the prospects mature) but I'm dreading playing them due to their physicality and goaltending. I expect them to make some noise this year. |

Kevin Freiheit: Kaleta on his way out? - KevinJames
Last year, Kaleta accounted for 1.47% of our total cap, and that ratio is unlikely to change. Why wouldn't we sign him, when he comes that cheap? |

You do have a more fan-friendly GM these days, true.

no room on the roster as of now, if theyre smart he`ll play in the juniors and the younger guys like Leblanc, Bournival, Gallagher, Tinordi, Beaulieu will be in the AHL |

John Scott played only 35 games last season and averaged 6:42 a game. He has one goal in 146 career NHL games.
To say he has a roster spot over guys like Kaleta is silliness to me. |
