I heard the ducks want a second line centre as one of the pieces, aka Hodgson. I don't know if the Sabres do that since Hodgson fits into their long term plans. Maybe something like Foligno, one of Grigorenko/Girgenson, and one of their good D prospects.

They may also ask for Myers straight up for Ryan? Would that be even?

Since Anaheim now has 6 signed defense men I believe it might be a little easier to trade Ryan. Whereas before I think they were asking for a #2 center, a top 4 D-man and a pick, I think what it would take now would be a #2 center and a true LW.

However, provided they could get him signed to a contract in the $7-$8 mil per year range, how about Ryan and Sbisa for Shea Weber????

I doubt they'd do it straight up...I've always said that I like the idea of Ryan and Palmieri or a 2nd, for Ennis and Foligno

That seems pretty steep. Schenn, Reed and maybe a 4th or 5th. If what u are suggesting is the asking price from Philly it must be RNH+ from edm. I was thinking maybe Hodgson and Pomonville or Stafford out of Buffalo

I don't think the Flyers will part with either Couturier nor Schenn. And since the Ducks want a center in any trade, that would prob take the Flyers out of it.

Yeah I'm sure a trade like that would get so so reviews from Caps fans but if we want to outbid Phi and others and replace Semin's scoring on the Wing then it's going to cost us. We've finally get our C position set and now our RW's are just Brouwer on 2nd line and Hendricks on the 4th with MarJo being moved from C to RW on the 3rd line(if he's not traded)
