.....doubtful Foligno plays in Rochester again. 14 games or not dude brings it every time he steps on the ice. Is just as happy putting someone through the end boards as he is scoring. How long have we waited for a big winger that actually plays big....he goes nowhere but the third line at worst.

no storm this year from buffalo. too much change last year resulted in being left out of the dance. the team is too good not to be in the playoffs and don't need any significant changes.

Ollie was always the center. Iggy just took the odd face-off on Ollie's weak side.

I don't think Jokinen is really needed on Buffalo. Love where that team is going. Could be the case that bringing in Ollie means that Roy is moved, but I don't consider Jokinen a first line centre either.

Could bring him in if they want to give time to any rookies coming up on the wing instead of centre.

Just to comment on your list. I do like the idea of P A Parenteau he'd be a nice fit with the Sabres problem is there are way too many other despereate teams out there that will most likely grossly overpay for him. Shane Doan would be exactly what the doctor ordered. Now with Goldwater out of the way Phoenix may be closer to solving their ownership issue. If that happens Doan stays in the desert. I am a Steve Sullivan fan. He came cheap and produced. Yet Pittsburgh let him go. He's small,slower and brings no toughness. If Darcy passed on him before nothing shows me he'd go reaching for him now. Olli Jokinen i wouldnt touch with any pole. The guy produced in a contract year. Otherwise he shows up when he feels like it. Let him ride and don't even kick those tires. Brandon Prust? He'd be ok to add if there weren't better options out there. You could trade for Steve Ott. Colby Armstrong is now available. If this team really wants to reach for somebody with questions give a look at often injured Peter Mueller or check the true availability of a Chris Stewart from St Louis or a Evander Kane from Winnipeg. Just because a team re-signs a guy doesn't mean they can't move him. Especially if the return is good.

I could see riots in Buffalo if Foligno didn't start the season with the Sabres, then again, if he doesn't bring it during Camp, then he shouldn't start, should be the same for EVERYONE, really looking forward to a full season of Foligno, I don't see the Sabres making any big moves from here.
