Peter Tessier: Glass Talks hit Snag & Allan Walsh an Enemy to the Jets? Recent news suggests the talks with Tanner Glass are not as close it they appear and perhaps with another player far more important.

Walsh is a little female dog. He whines all the time, but never has any sort of answer to anything. Other than it's broken or not working.

Big (frank)in surprise. The only time I ever hear this guys name is when he's whining and making a big stink about whatever. What a puke. I could just imagine what ridiculous number he expects pavelec to get. Can't see Chevy shelling out more than 4M AAV.

Well.....my "ideas" tend to be somewhat extreme.

I have been pushing to trade Byfuglien for a while now. I also believe this team can trade Enstrom. Yes, I understand that you would be trading your top defense pairing, but I actually believe this would benefit the club. Your top defense pairing would then be Bogosian and Stuart. I can live with that. Second pairing would consist of Hainsey and Flood. Flood needed to be in the line up more last season instead of Randy Jones. The final pairing would be Grant Clitsome (who proved to be more than serviceable) and more than likely Arturs Kulda.

That is a corps I can live with. It is cheap, reliable, young, and maybe most importantly.......balanced.

Think of what the return would be on a player like Buff. Even Enstrom would bring some substantial return.

Those are the types of players you would have to deal to get a #1 center, or perhaps the 1st overall selection in this year's draft.

Drastic moves ? Absolutely. But they could prove fruitful for a team that looks to be destined for a long period of mediocrity if they don't do something

Interesting to say the least. I don't love the idea of moving Buff AND Enstrom but we are in an awful need for a true number one center. Also, who knows if Kulda would be able to keep up. I do agree though, that Bogosian is well on his way to being able to handle #1 pairing minutes. In fact, I think I'd rather have him up there than Buff. Who would you call first with your offer?
I wonder how much we'd have to give up to get Staal out of Pittsburgh. Of course, we'd have to worry about the impending doom of UFA status. I think he'd be a great guy for this team though I'm sure every team would say that.

If kane doesn't want to be here trade him now. The jets do not need this guy around if he doesn't want to be here

I agree entirely, the kid's ego is way bigger than it should be and I doubt many will be sad to see him go. However, won't dealing him now handcuff Chevy a little bit due to the fact that it seems a little desperate?
