Looks like a lot of you Flyers fans are rooting for the Kings on so many different levels.

If you all think it's boring, I'll take it.

Boring and winning our first Cup > Exciting and losing

Many of us Kings fans have suffered for a long, long time. It's one thing if our team was perennially good and never won, but with the exception of a couple years per decade, we've been bad.

I'm rooting for Hextall, obviously because of his years as the Flyers goalie. His passion and desire epitomized being a Flyer for a long time.

My other big interest in seeing LA win is personal. I've met John Stevens a few times, and he is one of the most genuinely nice people I've ever met. The second time I met him was when he was being inducted into the AHL HOF at the AHL ASG. I went up to him, figuring he'd not remember me, but he did and recalled the conversation we had had previously.

I won't be upset, as some will by Richards and Carter winning. Nor will I be overly joyed to see Gagne win. But I do really want to see Hexy and Rambo win.

Great idea on the FHOF idea, Bill. Beast and Watson were a perfect bookend between the Bullies teams & the Keenan era.

We really need to start honoring those early 1990's teams. I want to see Brad Jones, Andrei Lomakin and Dominic Roussel get their props, too

Had Richards or carter caused a fuss forcing the flyers to trade them, I'd likely be annoyed at them being in this position. But the flyers chose to make these moves to help better the team, so why be mad that they win elsewhere?

Id also love to see hextall win it. Stevens may be a nice guy, but wasn't really around long enough for me to have any attachment there. No feelings one way or the other for me there.

I'd really like I see gagne win it, but it sucks it has to be the way it is. Playing two games just to get your name on there. Still happy for him, but wish it cod have been different for him.

Not rooting for the Kings, I'm rooting against the Devils.

If the Little Sisters of the Poor were playing the Devils, I would be rooting for LSP.

All fans have suffered with those teams that haven't won the cup and even with the teams that have won the cup but haven't won in a while.

I'm hoping for a sweep so the offseason can begin.....

Get these finals over with so we can begin the offseason already. I look forward to your blogs Bill, as they are refreshing and excellent. You are definately a master of your craft. Keep up the excellent work, as you deserve the praise and keep many of us fans entertained through out the offseason, draft and even when they starting signing/ making trades. Bravo Bill, Bravo

I think Oscar Dansk will be a stud goalie in the NHL. I'd prefer him over Malcolm Subban if I were a GM.

I can't wait until Mark Recchi, John LeClair, Eric Lindros, etc. start getting inducted into the Flyers HOF. Gotta happen soon.

You should be excited. As I told my friend on the west coast, you may never know when the next one comes.

LA barely made the playoffs, but they deserve the Cup on their performance. As we all know, it is how you play at the end of the season that matters.

The only reason I don't like the Kings is you should have traded us Quick for Mike Richards!

Enjoy watching a SC team in your home town.

In the very brief times I have watched the SCF this year the Flyers have been mentioned way too much for not participating.

I was rooting for NJ just because I didn't want to have to put up with the poopstorm of the local "hockey" media, who can't spell Quick or Kopitar. But the Kings have shown in every round that they are far and away the better team. So good for them. And Kurt and Goldie will be really happy...long suffering Kings fans DO exist.

What do you expect? 4 ex-Flyers currently on the Kings roster, an ex-Flyers coach is an assistant coach, and Hextall is the assistant GM. You knew it would be one of the themes of the series.

Yeah, I'm ready for it to end tonight. No sense in watching LA drag the Devils dead carcass around any longer.

I hope Quick gets another shutout tonight and the Devils score 2 goals in the entire series. That would be the ultimate clowning.

The Devils scored more goals then the Flyers. Atleast they are playing for the chance to win the Stanley Cup. Flyers been sitting home for two rounds now.

You don't get any credit for finishing second. I always cite the Buffalo Bills as the prime example, they played in 4 straight super bowls, (a hell of an accomplishment) and they are the butt of jokes.

With how they are getting dominated they may as well be sitting home playing beer pong and winning awards from local retailers.

Yeah, but the Devils have one of the best franchises over their goalie's tenure. Just not the fan support that we have in Phila. I wouldn't compare them to the Bills.

BTW - the Bills will be a playoff team this year and watch out.
