Blame ticket reselling companies. It's a plague all around the country.

Seems to me that Rangers don't have to be nearly as perfect as we have to to win games in this series. Like Todd said the Devs must create some traffic in front of Henry to have any chance of scoring. He's setting up and getting in position to stop our shots before they're even leaving the sticks.
And the PP is absolutely dreadful it's almost better if we don't get any man advantages!

a bunch of the rangers fans that were in my section and section next to mine said that they brought the tickets off of devils fans because the devils fans were more interested in making a profit one guy spent 950 for 3 tickets and a parking pass

They like coming here because our arena is nicer!

Having money doesn't mean you're a fan. I watched 80 regular season games this year but I don't have money or time to go to playoff games. Doesn't mean those schmucks are fans.

Thats part of the problem as well. Ticket prices are so damn high. I certainly cant afford $150 a ticket for nosebleed seats.

There are alot more Ranger fans, thus logically there are alot more wealthy Ranger fans. Its sad but its true. If the Devils wanted to sell out and keep the games full of Devil fans, the tickets should have stayed the same as regular season. You price gouge and this is the result. With that said, I dont really care if it is 100% Ranger fans. It doesnt win the game. We win the first 2 or 3 games and game 4 would have been all red.

Two goals. That's what the Devils need.

Marty can play well, but you can't count on a shutout from him at 40 years old. Even if he plays superbly, he's not going to outplay Lundqvist. So their offense needs to outplay the Rangers defense. We've seen it happen once, they can do it again. Traffic, deflections, whatever, just get it done.

75% of this series has been played in the Rangers zone. Time to slip a few past the goal line.

This. In addition I live in So Cal so the only opprtunity I get to see the team in person is when the Rangers travel to Anaheim or LA. Even should the Rangers make it to the Finals and play against LA I'm not sure I would be able to afford the tickets. I watched all but two games live on Center Ice or what have you and no one can question my loyalty to the Rangers. The fact is there are other priorities in my life that make attending more Ranger games difficult.

I blame them because they have to realize the market they are in. I can certainly understanding raising the nosebleeds from like $45 to $75 but $150 plus ticketmaster fees is insanity.

well just take solace in the fact that it'll be all red next round when we face the kings...no offense to washington or ottawa but we're a much more resilient team...we will beat the rangers...lundqvist is great but he can't keep this up and the rangers are a horrible team when playing from behind....good when they have a lead...all we need is a goal or 2 right away and forecheck like in the philly series...i had a feeling about this team...the same exact feeling i had in 2003. This is our year.

Lundqvist has been this way all season, hate to break the news to you.

I don't think Jersey will quit but that doesn't mean they will extend this series into the weekend.

Lundqvist is in a zone and the Rangers are not afraid of the Devils.

Unlike in 2003, Jersey doesn't have a superior defense and a superior goaltender anymore.
