good write up, we need to come up with the same effort and more for game 3, we need to have the energy and build off our crowd

Loving the play from the 4th line; couldn't ask for anything more from those guys.
Some questionable calls both ways but the roughing on Elias and the interference on Poni were BS. The intermission report did point out some bad play from Kovy. Is his back acting up again because he looked like he didn't want to get hit. Sweet goal by him though. And as the announcers pointed out he really needs to pinch in down low on occasion to get those rebounds.
On to game 3!

they weren't big enough to stop deflections tho. add a few more inches to the sides and shoulders. I heard less Marty chants last night than game 1, not sure why.

and that the rangers never do any kind of interference while the devils interfere every.second

Everyone hates the rangers. You should be used to this by now.

I wouldn't call Kovalchuk's performance good. He had a goal, that was good, but he can't be having stupid giveaways in the D zone. Especially not multiple in one shift. Overall though glad to get the win, took advantage of Bickel getting some rare ice time on the Clarkson goal. Marty was good too, has been all playoffs.

So Todd, was that a little shot at the 2nd line to wake the 'f' up? just messin. Marty looked awful the first period and a half, i was at the game. I said if he didn't show up for the 3rd the Devils would be in trouble..sure enough after they grabbed the lead hes was an animal in net. nice to see a strong finish from him. you also said PDB matched his 4th line against the Rangers 1st, but they had first change. I think it was more of him having the confidence in his guys to play against anyone and then left them out there because the Devils first line couldn't generate much against the Rangers 1st in Game 1..oh, and the 3rd line was phenomenal. They need to continue playing like they did in the series against the Panthers if the Devils want to keep scoring 3 goals a game. The D as a whole played unreal, with Salvy and Harrold the standouts of the night. good write up

he is 12, his team is the greatest, they can never lose, do any wrong or anything negative, everyone else just sucks and he gets butthurt
