Read that Vokoun is heading to Lokomotiv. That would be really cool. The sentimental side of me wishes he would end his career in Nashville, as I think we are going to trade Lindback at the draft.

Just terrific to hear the good news on the ratings front. Next step is to keep growing the sport at the youth levels and the sport will continue to live on strong in Nashville.

Ron’s Diabetic Assist Dog Update - $6000 is so fantastic, and to think, his original goal was only $1000. It's so good to see Preds fans and hockey fans alike step up and contribute. No matter what the final number ends up being, this is now a very manageable expense for Ron. Great job everyone.

Vokoun - I have to admit that I had thoughts of Vokoun returning to back up Rinne as well because I feel we'll be losing Lindback in the next couple of years, but he'll be making a lot more in the KHL and he'll be a starter. Best of luck Tomas.

Preds fans - We always said that it would take a generation of kids growing up with the sport for hockey to really gain a foothold in a non-traditional market. We were right, they were wrong. Nashville has proven that hockey can survive in any market as long as you have a committed ownership group, a decent product on the ice, and kids growing up with the sport. It's now part of the culture and fabric of this great city. Well done.

It is crazy to think they are up 75% over the last 2 seasons. To think that for every 4 people who watched 3 seasons ago, there are 3 additional people watching the games now

Here is a question for everyone. Would you prefer to have Radulov or semin on the team? I have a hard time trying to pick which one I would prefer

Good job Nashville. I

I'd go with Radulov, provided he's on a very short leash.

Awesome news from Music city!

Not sure how you guys manage to introduce the hockeybuzz in Tenesse but great job!
It makes you wonder ... WTF are the Blue Jackets, Hurricanes, Islanders doing really??? Clearly not the right stuff...

As for the Coyotes and Panthers... I think you guys are starting to get it. The only thing is... it may be too late.

We will see

I think the Hurricanes are just fine. I went to four of their games over the last couple of years and they were pretty well attended, even on a night when NC State was playing UNC in football.

The Blue Jackets fans have been good soldiers. The ownership and management has been terrible. The fact that Howson is still employed only serves to show just how disfunctional that organization is. It's hard to be loyal when your team sucks for more than 10 years.

Islanders, pretty much the same. I'm betting that even with a crappy building those fans would show up and pay attention to the team if they had anything to cheer for.

The cycle changes for almost every team. Even Boston, Detroit and Chicago had their struggles when their teams weren't any good.

Radulov. Not even close. Semin doesn't even act interested sometimes. Radulov is a bit of a loose cannon, but I'd rather have him over Semin any day.

Sergei Kostitsyn separated his shoulder. Andrei Kostitsyn might be suspended for a hit from behind (that he learned from Tootoo) on Evander Kane.

Tough day so far for Preds fans.

Congrats Preds.

And why wouldn't you take the better player? The one who can score the most goals, and the one who never bolted for Russia?

Because you can probably get ARad for half the price that Semin is expecting...

For some reason I read this as "I'd still take Semin on Rads".

FAR too many jokes there.

Anyway, the TV numbers just further prove that we're getting closer to that "mission accomplished" place. Now we just need some banners hanging from the rafters...

How's it a tough day?? They're at championships. A separated shoulder isn't that bad. He's just not supposed to move it for a couple weeks. And a suspension in world championships doesn't matter in the NHL.

Well apparently the Oilers might be interested in Tootoo so then you could see him 6 times a year instead of just 4.

need the broadcast in Birmingham, AL. I went to some college games here and saw several Preds logos plus i have seen several around town. Also was at the beach last week before game 4 and was wearing the bright yellow preds shirt and heard go Preds from over 10 different groups.

Any time someone separates their shoulder it's not good, no matter when and where it happens.
Andrei is done in the NHL, I can see him and possibly Sergei in the KHL next year.

I agree with the separated shoulder - see Backstrom's hit on Goc a couple seasons ago, screwed him up well into the summer months and a bit of it was recurring while in Florida.

As for Sergei/AK to the KHL, I seriously doubt both would go. I think (and thankfully, the Arizona Incident proves) Sergei wants to be a part of this team, even if he won't shoot the puck more than 100 times in a season. Regardless of playoff performance, he backchecks as well as Spaling does, and that will keep SK in Trotz & Poile's good graces.

Maybe just wishful thinking from the Edmonton Journal. So if Ek reads it, then E4

Gotta love the shirts in Washington that say "I Laich Semin."
