I suspect a lot of the questions concerning PK's team first mentality has more to do with the previous regime than PK himself.

to an extent, of course it does, but there's a grain of truth to everything. what matters more is how he's perceived by his teammates, and though he's shown the promise of being great in every department, he still lots of maturing to do--which is normal. He's 22.

Why? This is a serious non-trolling question. Just curious as the why you think that.

JayOnrait: Slats looks more like Dame Judi Dench every day. Looking forward to Ms.Dench in "THE GLEN SATHER STORY" with Richard Van Dyke as John Muckler.

Yeah, Mondou traded like 4 1st round picks to win the President's Cup and lost in the quarterfinals. I want him in Montreal.

His play rarely struck me as selfish, it was something else. Youthful exuberance? I think he has a lot to learn and some of it is simply maturity, but I feel a lot of the negativity surrounding him was blown way out of proportion.

I'm sure announcing this to the media is the best way to go.

I also think he got in trouble when he saw things were not going well he tried to do too much. He learned to slow things down at the end of the season and had a good ending.

Oh I agree 100%. I just don't think previous regime had much to do with it. Just immaturity. I also think he rubbed a couple of his teammates the wrong way because of it.

No question, especially early in the season, he was trying to do to much, the blind passes were ridiculous, but at the same time he was asked to do too much. They basically had a 22 year old d-man as the #1 of a group that was one of the worst in the league.

that's the old rob121.

To answer, how can I tell you? I have no idea what you've read or heard on the topic in the last 24 hours.

This is my spin on it. I don't think people have really been leading with Subban's negotiation being the biggest challenge in the sea of challenges ahead. And I think it had some nice flow...
