Is that wise moving Harrold off defense? Why not bench Volchenkov who is also hurting and sucking in the playoffs? I would like to see Janssen or Boulton get in the lineup to add a little energy and bang some bodies.

I expect him to struggle a bit in his first playoff game. The speed of the Flyers forwards is only going to make it harder for him to adjust. He's going to be a pain in our butt for years though.

too bad about Kovy ... but maybe it's the whole addition by subtraction thing? He was obviously struggling with the injury, and almost anyone you plug in there will make more of a contribution than he was able to.

Should be a great game, and hopefully the Flyers remember that it's starts in the FIRST period, not the second. I also don't think the Devils will tire out in the 2nd and 3rd periods as they did in game one.

The winner tonight, in my estimation, will be odds on favorites to win the series.

even though kovy wasnt making plays or anything like he used to, the other team had to respect him for his shot and ability so with him out it will be an easier task of pressuring and stuff

time to see if parise steps it up, and see if he can actually be clutch

If Tom could avoid blowing a gasket every game he'd make a great grinder. At 6' 5", 230lb the guy is an absolute killer on the forecheck.
