I dont see Roy getting any better here.Just hope the Sabres have plan B in place and its not named Hogson when they make the move probably at draft day.

As for Hogie he better have a banner year cause to me he looked like a kid who doesnt really want to be here and is just playing his time out till hes a free agent next season.

Cody looked like someone who only played 20 games for a team that doesn't know how to roll a consistent offense for a coach that doesn't know how to let players play to their full potential.

And yeah, no one wants Derek Roy on this team anymore. The Sabres play just fine without him and he is everything that this team shouldn't be.

Lindy Ruff hurt his feelings. He needs to go.

I listened to Boyes this morning in an interview saying how no one could get chemistry because the lines changed so much, and hinted that Lindy didnt know how to use guys

why would we trade a center that makes little money compared to others. i say keep him one more season. his leg is still healing, if he craps out next season, then trade him.

i really like lindy but i think it is time for him to go. i feel for boyes, of course he isn't going to produce on the fourth line with players like mcmuscle and ellis.

boyes knows he's gone. honestly, i thought Roy saying something was pretty interesting since there's no guarantee he's gone, but i think he, and the fans would prefer it.

i remember it being mentioned that way back drury was even annoyed with ruff. he stated that briere gets to stay on the top line with his guys and it was tough because he was on the 2nd line that would constantly switch. i thought it was pretty telling because it wasn't really like drury to come out and complain about well, anything. i can see that it wears on people, but at the same time, i get why ruff does it because if something isn't working, you have to do something to change course.

i just love how all the "elite" teams are out of the playoffs. it really pissed me off because we could have gone far with results like these.

He's rumored to be a poor influence in the locker room.

I dont get Ruff, too many players get free passes while others are in the dog house, Roy wont ever miss a shift, yet boyes is buried on the 4th line, yet lindy has the balls to put guys like Ellis and Kaleta on the ice with 3 min to go down by 1 or 2. I can never grasp the message he's trying to send. It's almost like he tries pushing this stance that the guys that work the hardest like Ellis or Kaleta will get the crucial ice time, yet he will let Roy and Vanek float for games on end and there not punished in any way

It's just stale period. Core players + Same Coach + No cups = Not a beleif in winning.

yes, that is why guys like Breie and Dury, Campbell, to name a few had their best years under Ruff... check facts before throwing out garbage statements...

Maybe it was because we had injuried every other game and that lines needed to be changed. Especially when they are not working. Put the blame where it belongs...on the players...Boyes couldn't score his way out of a paper bag.

I'm 100% behind firing Lindy but you can't blame him on Boyes.

The guy floated around the perimeter like Ales Kotalik 2.0 and occasionally scored a shootout goal. He had no right being on any line higher than the 3rd.

I'm glad he's speaking out against Ruff now but he's done nothing to warrant being on this team.

Everything was pretty much a fact, should we name the players who had there worst seasons under lindy??? I'll start 1. Brad Boyes 2. Ville Leino 3. Robyn Regehr
4. Christian Ehrhoff ( 2nd worst season )

Ruff has always changed lines too much, injuries or not. Its his biggest fault as a coach IMO
