Come on Bryz, be big today buddy. We know you got it in you. Just keep it under 3 and I think we're good.

If the Flyers did dress 7 d-men I assume JvR sits and they stick with well wood since just got back.

So should they just let the pens score first, since the team that scores first in this seekers loses.

good morning all, get this over with today. game 7's are a crap shoot no need to go there. flyers need to be awake at puck drop and put in 60 minutes of honest work. play manning and bart if necessary in place of kubina and lilja, i'd rather have some mobility than guys who play like they are skating in quick sand. just once i'd like to see the starting 6 defensemen in a playoff series, but every team has injury problems so no need to complain. it's going to be another 3-2 game, hopefully bryz only gives up the 2. go flyers, move on to the 2nd round.

Also the boys really need to win today, because I sick of seeing and hearing the pens and their fans.

Bill You mentioned yesterday that you don't wish injury on any player, I for one wouldn't be the least bit upset if Crosby was hurt by Malkin. Actually it would be some justice in my mind.

Today's Flyers-Pens officials: refs are Kelly Sutherland and Kevin Pollack, linesmen are Derek Amell and Scott Cherrey.

Sutherland, AKA"Mini Van" because of his slight size and obvious influence by Andy Van Hellemond, is considered by many to be the best ref in the NHL today. No one is infallible, of course, but he's almost always in the right position and doesn't blow too many calls. He's also consistent in what he calls penalties and what he lets go, and that's the most you can ask for.

I simply wish defeat on players I don't like. I won't shed any tears for Crosby if he was, in fact, shaken up by Malkin more than Pens let on. But I don't wish more concussions on him, either.

With that in mind the Flyers should to hit Crosby early and often all legal hits, but just test that head of his.

Definitely Manning over Kubina- who didn't really impress me BEFORE his injury- and dress 7 Dmen. In Manning's short stint- and in the AHL games I've seen or read about, he is much more capable of clearing the front porch than Wolf (whom I really like for 2way in any other situation.

The hockey gods weren't with the Flyers in game 5, two posts in the 1st period. Staal's shot on the 2 on 1 grazed the cross bar and went in the net. Hoping for a little more luck on home ice today. Seize the opportunity.

Bill is there any chance that JvR gets moved up from the 4th line today? They usually say that the second game is the hardest on the legs.

Would like to see Schenn at center and Briere on the wing also.

Even though this would be the perfect opportunity for me to rip Briere, I think he has a big game today and the Flyers put the pens away. The quick turnaround should play into their hands. The two day layoff helped pitt last week and the momentum in this series looked like it was turning back to the Flyers in that third period. Game 6 is new game but the layoff killed the momentum last week for the Flyers.

LET'S GO FLYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't feel that nervous yet. But you got the butterflies going. Thanks a LOT!

Changing from losing jersey Wednesday (although it won game 3) and moving to Giroux podium hoodie from 2010.

I applaud the optimism. But otherwise, why is it the perfect opportunity to rip Briere?

I feel more then the obvious of Bryzgalov, and the defenseman. More than anything we need a big game from Giroux.

I think the Giroux line in general will have to have a big game. Need Hartnell and Jagr to dominate on the boards, in front of the net, and in the corners today.
