Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole game.

Legwand made some obvious dumb errors -

Home ice not a huge factor so far in these playoffs. No one should want to play the Kings right now...they are the proverbial 'hot at the right time' team in the West.

I am encouraged that the Preds are up 2-1 while not even close to playing the kind of hockey they can.

Looking forward to Tuesday!

I am waiting for our next Joel Ward or Dustin Brown to emerge from the forwards...

I don't think a spearing a player on the bench and grabbing a guys jersey are equal penalties??? I guess we're even now.

I couldn't be more proud of the 'Nucks. Couldn't have happened to a better group of guys....

Wilson deserves a chance after watching Tootoo, Yip, Legwand.

I agree with you guys. Doesn't Trotz HAVE to give Wilson a shot??? 2 2 was awful yesterday!

Also, I always dog Klein but what a great game he had yesterday. Didn't know he had that kind of move in him!

Well he sure as hell cant do any worse than tootoo or yip have done. I would put him in because he can usually at least handle the franking puck, something that is totally foreign to 22 and 18 right now. What would be wrong with 33 28 and 15????? come on no-neck. Poile gave you a chance several years ago, return the favor to 33 and 15.

I'd like to see a retooling of the second line and give 47 33 and 15 and see what they can do.

Leave 12, 74 and 10 alone for now. Same with Horny, Bourque and Spaling.

Make AK46, 11 (wing) and 28 play shut down.

trotz would never put 47 33 and 15 together they are not defensively strong enough for him. doesnt matter that they might keep the puck in O-zone entire time, if they got caught in D-zone he would crap himself.

After yesterdays showing....Trotz is crazy not to play Wilson. It is well past time to get him out there. It is time for Trotz to swallow his pride and let him play. Tootoo shouldnt see the ice again in this series.

Wilson deserves a chance to play in the playoffs. Do it Trotz. Tootoo has turned into a turnover machine, after looking so promising.

Hi Paul, I just wanted to point out I think it has been 15 years for the Panthers but regardless it was nice for them to get that victory. They let the rats fly, too.

Along with most other Preds fans on the page, I think we are ready to see Wilson. He definitely brings more upside than Yip and Tootoo. He also has the size to move players like Holmstrom from in front of the net.

for 5-6 minutes of ice time that 22 and 18 are getting, I would much rather see 33 out there.

also whats up with Rads? he needs to get a fire in his belly or something, at times looks like he is just going through the motions..

For the record, Rads has been double teamed the moment the puck hits his stick..you would think this would open up other guys but Radulov is so fast it takes a couple seconds for the trailer to move up, by that time Detroit is already taking it away from #47.

Radulov is great at making his own time and space but I think the smaller ice surface is still crimping his game to an extent. He'll adjust more and the second Detroit lapses on covering Radulov, he'll make them pay dearly.

GO PREDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like everyone else on this board think it is time to play Wilson, but wouldn't find if Smith played instead. Point is it should be one of those two, instead of Tootoo and Yip. Both Wilson and Smith are strong on the puck and have 10x more offensive upside then either Tootoo or Yip on their best days. I hope Trotz makes these changes and gives this team a little more offensive pop in the 4th line, why not a line of 33-28-15?

I think Horny and Radu are hurt, sit them for game 4 to heal. Put Borque with Leggy and AK46. Let Yip and Tootoo bang and pound. Roll Wilson and Smith with Gaustad. Can't be preditable with Babcock. Shake it up and keep him guessing!

I will assume we won't see Hal Gill until Friday at the earliest...all too quiet on that front.

BT, if you are going to dress a d-man and then not play him, why not dress only 5 and add an extra attacker?

I think he wanted Ellis primarily to help the PP.

In the playoffs, it seems like EVERY win is a "must-win." But, for game 4, I think this is one the Preds really need to get. Detroit has got to be frustrated right now - down 2-1. The Wings have played a decent series, and don't have much to show for it. Winning game 4 would allow Trotz to make some line-up changes for Friday night's game 5, without risking the whole season.

I think you may see either Wilson or Smith in game 4, but probably not both. Also, I would expect that Hillen will be back in to replace Ellis in game 4 - unless Gill were to miraculously heal up in time. I expect Gill to be out for this series. And the Preds have missed him on defense. Without that big reach and big body, they are still managing to move the big trees out of the way so Rinne can see the puck. Kudos to the D-men. It's been their series so far.

Like another poster, I would prefer to see Trotz shift gears a little and go with a slightly more offensive biased lineup for a couple games. It'll force a bit of a strategy change for Babcock. Plus, in the first 3 games, it's all been about the top two lines cancelling each other out on both teams & then the decision is which 3/4 line plays better & get's some timely chip ins from the defense.

Paul said exactly what I thought...we've won 2 of 3 and we played crappy in all 3 games. If we put together a full game, look out!

Sorry but you don't sit Horny and Radu unless they are really hurt. I don't think that they are anyway, it is just Detroit is keying in on both of them and hitting them every chance they get. I think both are playing fine, plus you can't assume that we win Game 5. What if you sit both Horny and Radu and we get ran out of the building, and give Detriot all kinds of momentum? I say roll with what you got on the top 3 lines, if you wanna make changes you insert Wilson and Smith and sit Tootoo and Yip. That would add a lot of offense in the 4th line and could give us the leg up we need to win Game 4. You don't mess around in a series like this when you got a team on the ropes you need to finish them and the sooner the better.

We win game 4, then we have a chance to eliminate the wings on home ice. That would be the best thing to ever happen to this franchise.

I'm suprised that rads has been so quiet during these playoffs, I would love to see 33 and 15 on the ice but I don't see that happening.
