i'm worried about the rust too. they seem to be in a good frame of mind, we'll see.
Who did Florida give up to get Gudbranson? wasn't he Ottawa's pick a few years ago? a high pick too if i'm not mistaken.

I'm hoping this series is short and sweet. No more than 5 games. I think it will probably go 6.. at least i hope, but ideally we want a short series. I know we just had a big break, but we still want the least amount of games played as possible. Brodeur, Elias, Sykora, Zubrus, Ponikarovsky, Volchenkov and Salvador don't have young legs to handle 3 7 game series in a row without having some sort of drop in performance. This is one that we should be able to win the easiest out of any future matchup. Hopefully we can get it done starting with a win tonight.

Gudbranson was drafted #3 by the Panthers after Seguin. Hopefully we can start off with a win. Gonna miss the game, but am definitely going to be keeping track of the score when I can.

The one player other then obviously Versteeg that has stuck out for me this year seeing the Panther is Garrison mean blast and can play some good defense and hit you pretty damn hard!

i dont i want the devs to win in 6. i have a theory that a team thats coming off a series playing 6 or more games vs a team thats coming off a series playing 5 or less. the team with 6 or more wins. its held true through the last 2 playoffs with the exception of 1 series when philly came back 4 straight on boston when they were down 3-0 which is like the first time its ever happened in i dunno how many years.
