every franchise has now made the playoffs since the lockout with the exception of the leafs. Maybe you should worry about how brian burke and the leafs before trying to poop on the panthers division title.

The cats deserved the division this year, and I think a reasonable goal would be a 2nd round exit.

Should be an interesting one, although won't be the most exciting series. Just hope we'll be able to control the Panthers speed.

The only team anyone talked about tanking at the start of the season was the Sens, and they clearly stepped up, and proved everyone wrong.

No offense to Panther fans, as you've made the playofs, but no one was bashing this team and calling them dead in the water at the start.

Florida has a decent future. Their D is young and very mobile, and they have Huberdeau waiting and Markstrom will be a fantastic goalie. Tallon is a crazy spender, but he does good job at making sure there is a competitive team on the ice.

In defense, 11 or something like that of their loser points came in a shootout, so those shootout loses would've been a tie anyways, which equals 1 point.

Pretty sure most had them 12th in the east at best. I did not see one single preseason prediction that had them making the playoffs, let alone winning the division.

I think the point was the Blogger needs to calm down.

The whole "eat crow" title was a bit much. No one bashed this team going in, and if the season was longer, the freeefall may have made them miss. It is not like the Panthers dominated the league..that's why he mentioned the loser points.

This has been said before and will be again I'm sure but most of those loser points were shootout and your season should not be decided on that! Get rid of shootouts and were fine.

If you're gonna harp on the loser point than shootouts should be just as bad. The loser point doesn't exist in the playoffs just like shootouts

I totally agree with you if anything they just need to get rid of the shootout then everyone can shut up about the loser point...
