I had serious considerations to go to this game tonight. I want to go to a game at the Joe eventually. |

Albany is already mathematically eliminated, so I think it's time to call up Zharkov and Zalewski?
What are the playoff roster limits, can't you have like 5 health scratches or something like that? - _Zippy_
I think you can have as many as you want. |

I think you only have a certain amount of call-ups post-trade deadline. I don't know if those amount of call-ups carry over or not?
I believe we used two, one for Harrold and one to ensure Taormina was eligible for Albany's playoff race, by sending him down and calling him up, but I'm not sure if we only have two left for the regular season, or the regular season plus playoffs. I am assuming that since Lou didn't waste a call-up on Gionta, the call-ups have to carry over. |

What a play by Harrold.
Ponikarovsky stopped that puck for Harold after he lost it, that was pretty sweet too, if Poni did not touch that puck, then that puck was in the corner. Poni tends to do these smart plays an awful lot. |

moves like ponikarovsky just prove why lou is still on the top of his game. |

I don't think I can say anything bad about any of Lou's moves since he fired JMac. |

Carter should've had Hudler. Left him wide the (frank) open, I think he didn't see Hudler on the far blue line. |

I really think he doesn't do well with the responsibilities at center. The fourth line was a mess when he played there and from what I've seen this game we have trouble breaking out and controlling the puck in general with him at center. I also don't think he should be on the PK. |

Josefson was vital to that fourth line in terms of moving the puck. We do the breakout where the center gets a pass from the winger and carries the puck out, Carter can never seem to receive the pass cleanly, and sometimes is too slow to get there so we have to hit it into the neutral zone, and he is not good skating through the neutral zone. Josefson took care of all that, and once it's in the zone, Carter and Bernier are pretty good.
Josefson is much needed hither. |

Yeah, Josefson going down really hurts but in the playoffs that fourth line is going to get less minutes. |

Red Wings make us look stupid with our dumb defensive zone turnovers. |

With Josefson, they weren't a liability and more of a factor.
That's where we lose out. You need a fourth line in the playoffs, if games go into double/triple OT and you are only playing three lines, thou art screwed. |

They are real quick with the puck off turnovers. As soon as they get it, they pass it to a player almost immediately. |

The Wings are playing a 1-3-1 right now.
Well, more of a 1-2-2 that turns into a 1-3-1. |

ITs not so much missing JJ as much as I think Carter isn't fit to be a regular center. JJ made our fourth line dangerous, but that really isn't necessary for any team. We just need one that won't get stuck in our own end, which happens far too often with Carter at center. |

Why the thumbs down? Do whatever you need to win. If that's the strategy they win with then it's a good strategy.
Fayne's been taking a beating so far. |

It's a good way to stop a team that refuses to do anything but pass through the neutral zone. |

More of the fact that I've never heard anyone say anything about the Red Wings playing the trap, as they've played the left wing lock, a form of the 1-2-2 for decades. |

Nice play by the Elias line, I saw that play coming as soon as Elias got the puck.
Now we can win out and don't have to worry about taking 5th seed. |
