Harrold has been good in the games he's played but the defensive upside of Larsson outweighs Harrold's. |

I'm all for Larsson getting more playing time, but my concern with him in the playoffs is that he gets beat to the outside very easily. In the playoffs, teams start going to the net harder and he can't afford to be weak there. |

sent everyone in the yahoo league an email, but i'll copy it here as well..
To start, I apologize again for the dumb playoff format of only 6 teams getting in. I didn't even realize it was like this and winning a 20 team league with only 3 rounds of playoffs feels la bit lame. Its been a great season. Congrats to Michael (Lou's Blues), Rishi (Canadian Devils), another strong performance from uvgt2bkdnme, John S (Puckhog), and Jeff (Pair of Zajacs), for making the playoffs and performing well.
also congrats to Mitch Pegg, James Slattery, Kovalchuk Norris, and Jim M for some great consolation matchups. You all should've made the playoffs, hope to see you there next year.
What happened Mussa? You have to come back next year, you're better than this.
Looking forward to seeing everyone back next year. Enjoy the playoffs! GO DEVILS! |

We still need to win some games here because Ottawa is not going away but I like to see Larsson get another game in to "prove" himself. If he does good then keep him in but if not you have to play your best during the playoffs and if Larsson has to sit then sit him. |

Larsson > Harrold > Fayne
ATrain, Greene, Larsson, Salvador (who is a +17 i think btw), Harrold, and Zidlicky should be our 6 D going forward until Tallinder comes back. Even then he's going to need time for conditioning, but you have to play your best in the playoffs. Regardless.
Devils need to keep up the pace, keep winning. Parise and Kovy need to stay on their roll too. Florida will be harder than people will expect.
Remember when everyone started looking past Carolina? |

who would Larsson replace in the lineup? no devil dmen over the last stretch of games deserves to lose his spot in the lineup and with the way they've been playing why would u want him back in? |

Harrold has played good in these last 3 games. He hasn't made mistakes and has been steady. Harrold is a good skater too. Larsson has struggled defensively and has costly turnovers. Can't have that during the playoffs. If we keep winning and Harrold keeps playing well, Larsson should sit unless we have an injury or if Harrold starts struggling. This is the part of the season where we can't have rookie mistakes. Top players will be playing more in the playoffs and 1 on 1 Larsson gets beat far too much. |

People still keep going with this...
Fayne isn't matched up against Ovechkin for no reason. Fayne is just your not flashy solid defenseman, I don't get what everyone hates about him. To say Harrold is better than him and Larsson whose been playing real bad of late, come on now. |

Is it just me or is the criteria for winning a New York Emmy if you are able to put up with Chico on a consistent basis?
How the (frank) does Cangi win a NY Emmy? |

So....who is going to be clutch these playoffs?
I have a feeling it's going to be either Bernier, Josefson, or Henrique, and I don't know why. |

He does a solid job. Compare him to most other play by play broadcasters around the league, he is better than a lot of them. He isn't as good as Doc, but then again is anyone? |

I agree. the people on Fire and Ice were tearing him a new one. i dont know why. of course he isnt like doc, but i think he does a great job. He keeps up with the play, shows excitement and is accurate in his play calling. Chico is pretty much blind at this point and cangi carries him just like doc used to.
As much as I love Matt Laughlin, hes not great at what he does. I think overall he is OK but he just has to get in the habit of saying SCORE! when someone scores. It takes 10 seconds for him to say its a goal....he pretty much describes what happens without saying its a goal |

There's always that one guy that comes out of nowhere.
Marchand, Ferrero for the Sharks, who will be that guy for us? |

Josefson. - Todd.Cordell
That's what I said earlier, just how he is consistently snake bitten but playing well, it seems like he would be that guy. |

He couldn't get a name right if his life depended on it. If you watch a game with Cangi, you will think Parise played 60 minutes. |

Josefson has 3 points in his last 5, 6 in the last 14. Not terrible when you consider his ice time, linemates, and the offensive play of the whole team over that period. I really think he's starting to find his offensive game at the NHL level, don't think I would consider him snake bitten anymore. |

He is. Hence the nickname Scott 'Money' Wedgewood. |
