I think we would be hard pressed to find any goalie who could be consistent under the style of play the Pens have been putting out there recently.

On Malkin: Sure it's great that he sticks up for himself and all but he is playing right into the Flyers hands. He's letting a rookie (a great rookie but still a rookie) get under his skin. Coots is blanketing Malkin and initiating after the whistle scrums like the rest of his teamates- exactly the way to play Pittsburgh. Malkin needs to realize this and stick to playing hockey.

On Crosby getting special treatment: C'mon man, obviously. I saw at least 4 blatant slashes go uncalled but you know what? He's a star and that's how stars are treated in this league. Don't like it? Blame Gretzky.

On Fleury: By far my biggest concern right now. I really hope he can turn it around in short order because if he doesn't we're toast.

On Bylsma: I hope there is a method to his madness. If he doesn't start countering what the Flyers are doing in the playoffs he's going to get schooled. Settle on some lines, simplify the powerplay and for god sakes put a defenseman on it.

I still believe Bylsma is playing with his new toys and tinkering. I have faith we'll return to some form of normalcy in the playoffs. Or at least I hope we do.

Finally, I franking love this rivalry and I can't wait until April 11th.

Not a single mention of team Foster taking down Frolik my Balls in the epic championship? I'm dissappointed, I had a victory song and everything.

That's not true. First pick would be applicable. First tee time. First baseball chant at a home game. Lots of first for the Leafs...

Congrats. Don't know if I should hate Ryan Malone because of this or not.

It's not his fault, don't hate Ryan. But on the bright side, now you can hate Lundquist like the rest of us

Yeah you are right there. It has been a very interesting dynamic leaning on Hank while wanting his team to lose.

Here is to hoping I don't have to draft 14th again.

Well I drafted 2nd, and took Crosby. Then I took Doughty with my second pick and he was junk. So essentially my first pick was about 50th overall. Thank you waiver wire. And Washy

Rawdog helped me out with the Roloson for Lucic trade haha. I think we went back and forth with like 8 proposals.

I saw a stat during the game yesterday, 5 players have I think it was 50 points and 100 PIM'S. You had 3 of them.

you're nitpicking a little criticism from "edzo"? they salivate over the pens game in and game out, especially crosby, who "made a beautiful play", according to edzo on sullivan's fluke goal when all he really did was make a simple pass from the bottom of the circle without any obstruction getting in his way. and the last game a couple of weeks ago, pierre asked edzo this: "have you ever seen a star player with as much passion for the game as sidney crosby?" it goes on and on. i didn't view the comments from him yesterday as anything worthy of getting upset about if i'm a pens fan.

and as for pierre's comment on schenn, you must have missed the shot crosby gave him in the corner beforehand. that was the entire reason for schenn's return fire.

I think John's comment is more in reference to Pierre's bad timing...they show the cross check and then he calls Schenn a character guy.

Whatever the reason for the cross check...John wasn't arguing for or against it...I think he was just saying the comment seemed out of place...which it was

The NHL is getting what it wants ... a bonafide first round series between two cities and franchises that not only detest one another, but are good enough to win the Stanley Cup. The loser is a very good team.

I find it hard to believe there will be another series that attracts the ratings of this series during the play-offs. There isn't a more intriguing matchup you could have.
