Well the Coyotes should be without Doan on Thursday, SHOULD being the key word.

Why always with the dumping and the chasing?

As I said in my blog in the avalanche forum, the Stastny line has been the best line as of late. I have loved Stazzers game lately. He is controlling play, keeping calm on the puck, and most importantly keeping his head up leading to good passing.

If the Mueller-Duchene-Hejduk line can just catch fire (or even a spark will do) this team will make it into the playoffs.

Also, I noticed Tyson Barrie and Shane O'Brien had strong games tonight. I was usually pretty calm when that defensive pairing was on the ice. They seemed to compliment each other nicely.

And lastly this needs to be said, Varly has been a BEAST. Grag Shurman is somewhere doing a fist pump due to Varlamov's play not only tonight but over the past few weeks. Varlamov has been so consistent and he truly is developing into a great young goaltender.

The idea is nice, but there are just too many players that deserve it more. The A should be for leadership not an agitator.
