There is a storm brewing in the Atlantic, and at it's center is a vortex of flightless birds. Watch out all and beware! It could strike you're town soon!

Why MAF? These are key divisional opponents and we had 4 days with no games last week, he will be fine.

TK has had his chances, yesterday alone in front of Broudeur, but he is a pretty good goalie.

First in the division gives the team a goal and purpose that keeps them from drifting and keeps them sharp. We all need a goal in life John. If an organization does not have a way to keep things interesting people will find a way to make it interesting. Drama for example.

E Tangradi needs to find a way to the front of the net to receive a shot or make a deflection or dig into a rebound. He is too happy to cycle, burn time and head to the bench. He needs to be hungier for goals.

Lastly, we need to go into Philly and beat them at hockey and not get drawn into goon world. One shot to Sid's head though and all bets are off!!! Don't even think about it Philly!

Interestingly enough, Kennedy is averaging more shots per game than he did last year. The puck just isn't going in. On the plus side, Kennedy showed more offensive creativity yesterday than I've seen from him all season.

With the way that the last 3 Penguin games have gone, I am calling for a 5-2 win.

I'm not worried about Kennedy. Hockey is a strange game and long streaks good and bad are part of it. Look at Neal last season. Besides Kennedy looks like he's working hard every shift.

The Pens are pushing hard for 1st place because the goal is to be the best team and has nothing to do with matchups because anything can happen with the seeding.

Keep the streak going Pens 5-3

I think JT's point is that any questions about this team (such as the ones he came up with) are a non issue. I kind of wish they had started Thiessen yesterday, but so be it. Hopefully the Pens will continue their march through the Patrick Division (I'm feeling old school this morning) like Sherman burning Atlanta on his march to the sea.

Hockey shouldn't be played this early after the age of 8.

Couldn't agree more. I just hate these afternoon games. I realize what they're trying to accomplish... trying to fill a void after the NFL shuts down, but after a long cold winter, the weather is turning, and I'd rather spend my day outside getting sh*t done.

I think the product suffers too. Half the time, these teams come out in a coma because their routines are interrupted.

LGP! Hope they pummel Bryz with shots. Get that guy back to questioning himself again.

It's 73 degrees in WNY in mid March. I am really trying to convince myself why I should be inside to watch the game. Ultimately Sid vs the Flyers will probably win out.

It's 33 in my area and it rained and snowed last night. I'm having no problems convincing myself to stay inside.

Keys to the game...

Barrage of shots on Bryz.

I think the Flyers realize they need to dirty the game up against the pens. I expect lots of chipiness on both sides. Just for the love of god keep Sid off the ice when Rinaldo is on it.

They're praising Kunitz for his defensive play when it was his giveaway that created the chance in the first place, sloppy passing early all around.

Pierre couldn't wait to say something about Sid.

This looks like it's going to be a really good game, both goalies have had to play well so far and these scrums are going to turn into scraps soon.
