Agent Smith had a strong game and picked up an assist on the Madden goal. He was really good in the corners and working the cycle. The only blemish might have been a turnover on a bouncing puck that Theo took care of. He was rolling with Madden and Barch last night. They looked pretty solid throwing the body around and generating energy.

I love the Panthers' this year. One of many fantastic storylines in the NHL this season. Great shot in the arm for a franchise that desperately needed it.

Love Smithers. I'm not entirely sold that we should have traded him. I think he still had a ton to offer this team. He is definitely missed.

Hoping we can come out with the same energy against a desperate Buffalo team. We are going to have to match their compete level if we have any chance of grabbing 2 points.

If we get Versteeg back while Myers is still out on suspension then that would be a tactical advantage for the Panthers. Buffalo gave up a point to Colorado in dramatic fashion on Wednesday while Florida has won 3 in a row, so confidence should be in the Panthers favor. Miller has been playing really well of late while Theodore has been giving up 2 or less and taking past games into consideration, I expect a 2-1 or 3-2 game with overtime highly probable.

We will really miss him if Goose is out for 4-6 weeks.

Love the Panthers' story, really rooting for you guys. I think the thing I find most pleasing is the fact that Florida is proof that a rebuild doesn't need to take 5+ years. It can take just one summer with the right people at the helm. Kudos.

Sorry to hear about Skille, those who post here regularly are probably aware of my belief that he is an important piece of our puzzle, challenging teams with speed, size, and great puck possession skills. Glad to see Wolski stepping it up, looking like a great, underpriced signing.

Got to love Smitty, loved the way he played for the Preds in last year's playoffs, and what do you know but Barch has suddenly come alive....playing on a line with Smitty.

Thanks to the Preds fans posting their well-wishes, I pull for you guys in the west. With Santos as our assistant GM we are linked to you with many trades and signings, and its no secret that the Panthers use the Preds as a model to follow for future development.

As for our Panthers, BIG game vs. Buffalo, we need to keep this rolling, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine a shot at 2nd in the east, I was just hoping for a shot at the playoffs! Go Cats go!
