so, how much longer until burke starts taking the heat for this calamity? I think most other GM's, especially in hockey crazy markets, are handed their walking papers LONG AGO. 4 straight years of missing the playoffs, a slew of terrible contracts, giving a coach an extension and then firing him a few weeks later, failing to unload useless players for valuable picks at the deadline, having absolutely no clear plan for the future of the team, etc, etc, etc, etc.

i honestly have NO IDEA how he's still employed.

obviously as a sens fan, i'm anti-leaf, but leafs nation are probably the most passionate fan base out there, and you guys deserve better than the idiot you currently have running your team.

coming from a fan of a team who's pretty much owned the panthers since their inception, it is kind of fun.

shouldn't you wait until your team actually has a playoff spot, and has gone more than 5 consecutive months in the span of a decade without sucking, before you start trash talking other teams.

considering the panthers currently own the longest playoff drought in the NHL, and are in real danger of missing again this year, they probably aren't in any position to be chirpin anyone.

and really, you're talking seeding? if the panthers didn't play in possibly the worst division in all of professional sports, you're likely on the outside looking in every year......oh wait, that's what happens anyways.

it would be too high of a cost. no way nash gets traded without a 1st round pick of some kind going back. it would have to be something like:

kessel for someone elses draft pick, then that pick +++ for nash, the plusses being variouns young players with high potential

Ottawa is a joke, what have you guys won in the past 20 years???? NOTHING. so stfu. All your organization has done is waste great players like Alfredsson, Spezza and trade away guys like Chara to go on to win cups with OTHER teams. You've done just as much losing as us.
