....so the real bad news is that Weber stays in the line-up
...on the bright side there's no chance of Sulzer coming out |

According to the News, Foligno stays in the lineup tonight. Who Sits if both Vanek and Kaleta are back? |

In Ottawa, Vanek was out, Foligno was in but Kaleta and Ellis played.
Now, Vanek is back, Kaleta stays, but Ellis is out. |

So the bad new is Sekera and Ellis can't play...
Hypothetically speaking, that's like saying bad news is Weber is hurt and we were forced to call up McNabb. |

Since the beginning of February Hodgson has played 20 games and has 2 goals and 1 assist. He is pointless in his last 9 games. Something has to give. |

Vanek - CoHo - Pommer
Foligno - Ennis - Stafford
Gerbe - Roy - Leino
Tropp - Boyes - Kaleta
I could also see Leino taking Foligno's spot on the second line.
Have we called up McNabb yet? Sekera's illness is a tough pill to swallow. He has been great lately and one of our best dmen all year. Besides Ehrhoff I think he has been better than everyone else, including Myers.
Prognosis
With treatment, most types of bacterial pneumonia can be cleared within two to four weeks[45] and mortality is very low.[15] Viral pneumonia may last longer, and mycoplasmal pneumonia may take four to six weeks to resolve completely.[45] The eventual outcome of an episode of pneumonia depends on how ill the person is when he or she was first diagnosed.[45] Before the advent of antibiotics mortality was typically 30% for hospitalized patients.[16]

2 to 4 weeks is bad, and whats worse is that his conditioning will be poor when he finally feels well enough to join the team again. I realise that he is under the best of care and I am sure they caught it early. But this is bad no matter how you look at it.
We need to get McNabb up ASAP especially in case another Dman gets injured. We can't afford to miss a beat. He has to ready when the time comes, not called up last second rushing to meet with the teeam with no practice time with the team. |

He is better than you realise, you must not really watch the games. He is a bigger loss that all but two other Dmen, Myers and Ehrhoff. You must not really be paying attention. |
