I have a bad feeling as well, but Boston has been below average for over a month. Still, I think they'll see that a pretty weak Sabres team got weaker and they will try to beat them up at home. 4-1, Boston. Hey Boston fans, anyone want Turco in this one? Or is Thomas the consensus choice?

I think they'll give Turco some time to get his game in gear but I'd like to see him in at least a handful of games before the regular season is done. Thomas looks tired and if they ride him to hard the rest of the way I can't imagine him being at the top of his game come playoff time. At this point a rested Turco should be just as good as the tired performances Thomas has been giving.

Hey Ty, ever have a moment like this in your journalistic career? You Homer!

"I saw Jordan Leopold in the Buffalo after the game in Buffalo last night. I told him that I thought he played like a beast against the Hurricanes. For that matter, for the past two weeks." - Garth

I say Turco starts against the Capitals, to leave Thomas the convenient nationally televised home game return of Crosby which will leave the NBC broadcasters with an erection requiring consulting a doctor.

Timmy tonight, I'd guess Turco against Washington on the weekend and Timmy vs Pittsburgh. I suspect they'll want to get a little better look at Turco in practice before throwing him into the fire. He hasn't played a lot of hockey recently.

How did you guys sign turco ? Thought no moves after the TD. Unless signing from waivers doesn't count ?

You can still sign guys, although if from another league they have to clear waivers is my understanding. He's not eligible to play in the playoffs though.

It's really weird, some strange rules. Why even force the waiver process when a claiming team wouldn't be permitted to play him ... all very strange.

Even stranger is if anyone else claimed Turco he couldn't play for them, he could only play for the Bruins. Someone else claiming him would have been purely just to (frank) with the Bruins.

Edit: I think they force waivers and won't allow them to be in the playoffs so teams can't hide players in other leagues.

As it was hinted to be going down. Have to admit . There were many that hoped for that exact outcome

I have to admit I am surprised the Sabres have played so well after dealing Gaustad and Kassian. Miller really elevated his play the past few weeks.

good game and good goals. congrats.
Goose is missed but not really in the production dept. Kass was never what we wanted him to be (our expectations due to a clogged up wing)
