What...
I know there aren't really rumors out there now but, this article seems kinda "captain obvious"
Ofc teams will still be interested in him in the off-season. |

If Dustin Brown stays available I'd put him toward the top of my list too as a desired player. As far as Dallas players are conserned, I was hoping the Blues were gonna try to get Ribeiro after rumors came out that he was available. Ribeiro would have been a nice addition. |

So basically he may or may not stay with Dallas. Awesome.
At least this beats the "best team in the west" blogs. Thanks god Philly came back and beat Calgary on Saturday cause I couldn't handle the "watch out for Calgary if they get in" blog.

I also heard that a few teams might be interested in signing Ryan Suter as a free agent and that there's a possibility Rick Nash might get traded before the draft.
Will follow up with my sources to confirm |

I don't remember Ott on 24/7 other than when he had that incident with Laviolette? |

If they do decide to deal out Ott, I think they can get max value for him considering how many teams would welcome an addition like him. Great player that i'd love to see in Red and White. |

You know what, for once I totally agree with you on your opinion 100%.
Guys like Ott and Cooke were up for gut check moments in this new NHL. Not to imply Ott is a dirty player, but they both bring a tonne of grit to their game which sometimes causes them to cross the line.
Both have adapted quite well to the rule changes, and have put themselves in very important roles for their respective clubs. I'd doubt Pittsburgh would want to lose a guy like Cooke now, as Dallas love Ott the same.
Players like them will have a very important role once the aspect of fighting dies out. It basically opens up positions on the 4th line for players with a bit of scoring ability. I think any club needs a guy like Ott playing for them. Able to muck it up, hit, and pop a few goals in.
It's hard to subject to myself to the reality that you've put up a piece that has made this much sense. Not to imply you never make sense. Just from a hockey perspective, I rarely agree whole heartedly on what you throw up in your blogs.
Nice blog Ek. Keep it up.
PS, thanks for no Philly references in this one! |

The blog you wrote was much better.
What was it called again? Oh that's right, you didn't write one....
Start writing for the site so everyone can post snarky comments on your wonderful insight. Hmm, or maybe no one will read your blogs, because no one would care.
Either way, chirp all you want, it's so easy to do when you are a spectator. |
