Methot
Lots of rumors suggesting the Oilers have interest in Blue Jackets defenseman Marc Methot. I've heard Hemsky's named mentioned going the other way, but obviously he wouldn't be if he re-signs in Edmonton. Perhaps Methot is acquired for Omark + Peckham?

If the Oilers D is healthy next season, they'll be solid with Whitney, Petry, Gilbert, Smid, Methot and Sutton in the Top 6, and with Corey Potter as being the #7 guy.

No you haven't.

I'm planning on doing one every hour the day of the trade deadline. Gonna set some sort of weird Hockeybuzz record.

Potter as the #7 D-Man? I thought he was one of our better D-men, especially on the PP.

Burke specifically took on Lombos useless contract for Franson.. Doubt he gives it up for Khabby, unless there is way more to the deal on both sides.. Still dout Franson goes anywhere tho

Smytty is only worth a 1 yr deal.... We do not need him after next year... Time to move fwd and give our youth some ice time and opportunity...Unless its under 10 mins per game....

Heard the Flames are interested in Sean Avery. Their failure is complete.

I would take Kabby if that means Edmonton takes back Komi-trainwreck.

We almost should trade them the assets needed to acquire Avery. Give them a 4th rounder and let them get Avery.

Glad to see an offer for Hemmer. If we can't get something of value for him, then resigning him is an obvious must. Hopefully he agrees. Would love to see Franson come to Edmonton, but I can't see Khabby going anywhere...didn't Tambi say he was untouchable? and I'm pretty sure Toronto is smarter than that. The Omark deal would't be a bad idea, and i could see it happening. With Columbus rebuilding now, Omark and Yakupov could be deadly, small but deadly.

Here, let me fix that for you
"Gilbert, Smid, Petry, Whitney, Potter and Sutton in the Top 6, and with Marc Methot being the #7 guy."

Until Whitney has two working legs, I don't think he can be listed first.
Of course, Gilbert is in that same boat right now, but he should bounce back relatively soon.
I'm not sure Marc Methot is all that good, and he's a leftie, of which there are three ahead of him.
Assuming, Whitney heals.

Not really. I just have really good employers who accept how insane I am and are okay with it.
