Jeff Quirin: Langenbrunner Out 4 Weeks + Trade Tidbits + Rattie Hits 50/50/100 The St. Louis Blues lose Jamie Langenbrunner for 4 weeks. Trade talk on three rumored players of interest. Prospect Ty Rattie hits a lofty goal and point total mark.

Grabovski a 2nd line center? Are you high? Maybe on the Leafs he's a second line center, but on every other team in the league, maybe even the world, he'd easily be the number 1.

Schenn as a 4 or 5? What? Schenn is a durable hammer who, outside of perhaps Shea Weber and Zdeno Chara, is the most rugged, truculent Dman going.

You must be new.

Kadri and a 2nd for Oshie, Berglund and Shattenkirk.

If he's a second liner in Toronto who is their first?

"If the price goes down, why bother selling if you’re Garth Snow?"

Because Eaton really isn't very good and is a UFA at the end of the year. The Islanders are unlikely to bring him back next year; they'd take any pick offered to them.

I find the fact this wasn't instantly recognizable as sarcasm to be a scathing indictment of Leaf's fans.

Only if Colby Armstrong is thrown in. Always need more grinders. Wouldn't mind that Colton Orr guy Bruke won't play. Need a replacement for Janssen still.

Understandable, but are the Isles really at a point still where they need to grab assets for UFA? They aren't that far out of the last spot in the East. At some point a franchise that's gone through a deep rebuild needs to bite the bullet and try winning games from start to finish. A winning culture is built over time.

I'm not sure if I could even add any more sarcasm to that... After reading a couple replies, I wanted to see someone posting other centers in the league and asking if I thought Grabovski was better. haha...
