id have to say i agree with you on the goalie part. only fleurys consistency problems on some routine plays makes him lower than king henry. however, based purely on a skating coming in and attempting to score on him, i cannot see how flower doesnt belong in that top crop.

I've continued to give Johnson the benefit of the doubt thinking that he would come around because I haven't forgotten how well he's played for us and his time in Washington. But now he's causing me to have flashbacks to Sabourin and that certainly isn't a good thing.

5 of 6 defenseman are right handed tonight. Wasn't long ago that it was the complete opposite.

Leonsis throwing his team under the bus in his blog is poor judgement, IMO. The owner of a team implicates the coaching staff as well as the players in a public display that should be done behind closed doors.

As far as the game it is the Pens vs the trap once again. Unfortunately we usually look afraid to make a mistake in these game. Then of course we make one and then fish it out of our net. We need an aggressive foward attack but we do not, I repeat, do not need D piching in to give them a breakaway the other way. NY is disciplined and we need to match that faithfully IMO.

But the hometown fans booing him Saturday broke his heart. I can't remember a time where we did that to our goalie. Even last year when Fleury was terrible the crowd was chanting his name and screaming for him. I don't think there is a city in the world tougher on their goalies than Philly.
