Your team has a good winning record and you've hit a bit of a slump. Honestly most Lightning fans would sell there left testicle to have your recrod.

Interesting perspective. How about picking up one of our goalies?

Who do you want? You know who is unavailable, Marty, stammers, Lecavalier, picks and prospects so....

Hedman (oversight by you on the no touch list?). If so, then Malone.

I'll put a bow on either (not both), but Lundin comes with Harding too.

About time you wrote a blog Brad. Been over a month. Figured EK was looking for a new Wild blogger.

No, just trying to figure out my angle on this team this year. Found it. Focusing on long term success, instead of short term fixes.

I was sad to see he didn't resign here in Tampa Bay, he was great here. Harding is a good goalie and we have some guys in the AHL that are ready to come to the big boys club.

I heard that Steve Y was inquiring about Schneider and when Gillis mentioned Hedman as the starting point the conversation swiftly ended. If that’s true, you can add Hedman to the TB untouchable list.

Not surprising, his potential is unlimited and he is getting better. I am hopeful for Rku Helenius to be our no.1 soon. His numbers in the Finnish league are excellent and he already Lightning property.

That's 5-6 years down the road. If you want to win now and in the next few years, TBay needs a goalie yesterday.

Schneider, Ballard + Raymond for Malone, Downie + Hedman.

As knee jerking as most Hockey fans are wanting to win NOW, mr. Yzerman isn't gonna mortgage the farm like Burke. He has a plan and a purpose. He stated in the beginning that this would take 5 years to be where they want to be.

Agreed. Hackett is the heir apparent at the present time. But, remember, Harding also once was.

True. A bunch of quality prospects for the Wild, great feeling, hopefully they pan out!
